Open since 1999, Gökyüzü in Green Lanes was our very first Turkish restaurant in London. We were fairly new to the area all those years ago and found we were missing the food of our childhood, so we decided to bring the fresh flavours, succulent meat dishes and freshly baked breads of our Mediterranean homeland to Harringay.
Our families rolled up their sleeves and helped us to create our authentic Turkish menu. We set about finding talented chefs and ensuring that we selected only the very best suppliers for super-fresh meat and produce. Finally, we took the time to build a great in-house team and now we believe we’ve succeeded in replicating the warm welcome and sublime flavours of Turkey, right here in Green Lanes.
